Look of the Day
This is just a quick make-up ‘Look of the Day’ before the January Detox Part 2 (all beauty products!).
I’m writing French essays today, so have just gone for something simple, with a punchier lip to brighten my day of work a bit!
Key Products
- bareMinerals Prime Time Brightening Foundation Primer (£19) – I’ve included this as it’s definitely a vital ingredient for radiant skin! Can’t recommend it highly enough; it’s perfect under my mineral foundation.
- Clinique High Impact Mascara (£15 – sample shown in photo) – This came in one of Clinique’s fabulous frequent gift offers when you buy 2 full-sized products. It gives a lovely definition to the lashes; quite a runny formula though so watch those eyelids!
- The Balm Frat Boy (£13) – I received this fun little blusher in Carmine’s October beauty box. It’s super-fine and highly pigmented, so only a light layer is needed! Gives a lovely flush of colour to the apples of the cheeks.
- Models Own Lip Balm in Tangerine (£5) – This product lasts for ages, and is an amazing, vibrant orangey-red colour. Don’t be deceived by the ‘balm’ tag – the colour is very dense and buildable, giving a real pop to the lips.
- Braun Satinliner Hair Straighteners – I’ve had these for a good 4 years now and they’re still going strong – in fact, they’re now discontinued in favour of the upgraded versions! I have naturally dead-straight hair, so I’m not looking for the industrial GHD power; I use these for styling, flicks and waves. They also release a stream of ions, which is great for reducing frizz.
