Just a quick post to show you today’s nails – I’ve used the Orly Nail Polish in Ruby (£5.00 at Boots) which arrived in January’s Glossybox (see my review here).
I’d never used Orly polishes before, but I’m really impressed with the result. The mini bottles are a great idea, allowing you to buy quality polish at an affordable price without getting too bored of the colour.
The polish glides on easily, and layers up nicely as it dries quite quickly. The finish itself has a slight shine, which in the Ruby shade looks very sophisticated. My one critique would be that the polish needs to be slightly more pigmented – I think three layers would be needed to achieve a completely opaque result.
