Sally Hansen Healthy Cuticles Now! Review

MY quick review of Sally Hansen Healthy Cuticles Now!

Sally Hansen Healthy Cuticles Now Review

Just a quick post to sing Sally Hansen’s praises! A couple of months ago I invested in the famous Seche Vite Top Coat (£9.95 at Cult Beauty), as excited as you can get about a top coat for its protective, glossy, ‘absolutely-no-chipping’ reputation. On this side, it definitely delivers, but unfortunately both my housemate and I found that it severely weakened our nails. For me, the tips of my nails were splitting practically in half!
So, the next time I was in Boots, I decided to hunt down a product that would help my nails recuperate. I opted for the renowned Sally Hansen brand, and purchased a cute little tub of Healthy Cuticles Now!cream (£7.40 at Boots).

It sounded basically tailor-made to my ‘dry, weak nails’, and it’s really fuss-free, requiring just a dab on each nail rubbed in twice a day.

The cream is enriched with vitamins A, C and E, aloe for its moisturising properties and a ‘soy protein complex’, which sounded very high-tech and apparently helps the nourishing ingredients really penetrate into the nail.

I wouldn’t say that this is a miracle product, but it has definitely helped the sorry state of my nails on their road to recovery. Almost straight away I noticed that the nail texture was shinier and more even. Within two weeks my nails had stopped splitting, and with continued use flaking is at a minimum. As someone with nails naturally prone to flaking, this is quite a result!

On a side note, the product also smells delicious – quite fruity – and I’m loving the little retro pot among my beauty products.

Do you use Sally Hansen’s products? – Any recommendations?
