Aromatherapy: Tisserand De-Stress Roller Ball review

 Tisserand De-Stress Roller Ball review

I received this roller ball as a stocking filler this Christmas. Tisserand is an aromatherapy company with an extensive range of products, from body oils to diffusers. The handbag-sized roller balls first caught my eye at the Vitality Show, so I was delighted to try them for myself!

Tisserand sell eight different mood-enhancing options at £5.50 each. After my stay in Paris (which was pretty full-on, to say the least!) I was keen to see how the de-stress formula worked.

Tisserand De-Stress Roller Ball ingredients

Made up primarily of orange, patchouli and rose oil, the de-stress roller has soothing and re-balancing effects. The idea is that you rub the oil over your pulse points (wrists, nape of neck, behind the ears, temples…) when you’re feeling the weight of the world, for instant relaxation.

It’s not for everyone, but I have to say I was impressed by the effects: as soon as I passed this behind my ears, I found myself taking 5 to breathe in the fragrance and basically chill out. I suppose the ritual itself of using the product triggers relaxation; either way, it works for me.

Admittedly, I’d be more dubious about the merits of the Diet Aid or Travel options, but when it comes to relaxing or energizing, essential oils are renowned for their benefits. Plus, as I discovered, it makes for a lovely, thoughtful gift!
