Homemade Recipes for Winter Dry Skin

Homemade dry skin tips are definitely out there. Whether they are the recipes your grandmother or mother used (or still use), stuff that can be likened to old wives tales, or even new age solutions such as using natural plants and essential oils, homemade solutions for dry skin can be very useful and affordable.

Avocado, olive oil, bananas, honey, yogurt and even oatmeal have been used to treat dry skin naturally. Aloe vera gel, long renowned for being soothing, cooling and gentle, can also be used as a homemade remedy.

Below are a few recipes collected from Stylist, using ingredients easily found around the house.
