Look of the Day: Myface Gigabite Lipstick in Strawberry Fields
Look of the (other) Day
Myface Gigabite Lipstick in Strawberry Fields |
This post is more of an excuse to praise the Myface Gigabite Lipsticks. I’ve had two of the shades for fair skin for a few months now and they’ve quickly earned their place among my much-loved (and needed) wearable-even-when-I-look-like-crap products in the old make-up bag.
Strawberry Fields (pictured above) is a gorgeous pinky-red, which is eye-catching without overpowering a pale skin. I also own Vintage Pink, which is the best neutral I’ve picked up for everyday wear. Seeing as they’ve been around for a while, I thought I’d pop the ‘155 Strawberry Fields’ shade into a face I had on the other day, rather than going on about them!
I applied the Tolériante Teint with a foundation brush, concentrating on the dreaded T-zone and blending out. This was followed up by a quick eyelash curl and a wiggle of Clinique’s mascara (whose range in general is great for a clump-free finish), and a sweep of theBalm FratBoy blush (warning: highly pigmented) over the apples of the cheeks.
As this was a daytime look, I kept to one layer of the Myface lippie, with a little Vaseline smoothed over to keep lips hydrated and add a pretty sheen.
No fuss, no muss.
